Coming down the hill with 1200 pounds of old batteries strapped into the trailer. I had wrapped the batteries with a ratchet strap, then had straps to each corner of the trailer to keep the weight over the axles. The max rating of the trailer is 1200 pounds, so I knew I was pushing it on such a tough hill.
One of the straps broke, the batteries slid forward, and the trailer collapsed.
I'm in Tulsa now looking for replacement parts. (And a well pump, angle iron, etc...)
Waste not - on the way out to check trail cams my pants were falling off. I put that broken strap to work!
