I hope to transplant flora and fauna from the upper pond to the big "quarry" pond down the road. It needs some work to ensure that fish don't get flushed down the hill side when it overflows. The original damn was huge, and there is some question about whether an overflow washed it away, or if an agrivated neighbor was involved in destroying it. I don't know if it's worth the expense of rebuilding it completely - or starting a war with the neighbor - but it should be built up a bit and have a covered tin horn installed for proper drainage. This could be a great fish pond on the property.
